Andrew Hendrix (Notre Dame signee; transfer to Miami of Ohio)

Actually, everything I've read indicates that he only likes a few schools. More than one, but certainly fewer than "a lot."

He's probably seriously considering only a few but he likes a lot. He's mentioned being a fan of PSU, almost committing to ND, being really excited about the tOSU offer, and there's the rumors about Cryami being a player for him too. My point is he seems to be someone who isn't going to say anything negative about a school and it's probably best not to read too much into what he says or where he's rumored to be leaning to.

Virginia is another school he mentioned really liking, IIRC.

just a gut instinct and feeling, but I just don't see Andrew Hendrix and the Miami Hurricanes being a match made in heaven. It just seems odd to me. Their QB development has has been beyond bad, the culture of the team is still in the balance, and their offensive ineptitude rears its head every year. I just don't see it.....

Notre Dame and even Tennessee make more sense to me.....

Who wouldn't want to take a free trip to Coral Gables?

Fair enough.....I'm just seeing a lot of people who think this oculd be alikley destination. Coral Gables is beautiful, and a great environment for an athlete. The football team is in shambles though, and it isn't getting better any time soon, IMO. The development has been terrible, and the confidence/swag they used to have is all but gone. It's a flundering mid-level program right now. I'd still call it a sleeping giant with the recruiting base to pull from, but they need a football coach. Randy Shannon may have been appealing because of his ability to relate to young men in the community, but he clearly lacks a high football IQ and he gets very little out of his team.

It's just been bad....

And we won't take another guy like Guiton who is a project. And will probably end up at WR.

Have you seen a lot of Guiton? I seem to remember Highstreet having some good things to say about him as a QB. Just wondering why you seem to be writing the guy off before his career has even started.

As for Hendrix, I'm looking forward to seeing his thoughts on the visit to OSU. A couple weeks ago I read a post from a user named tresselsbuckeyes on Bucknuts, who the others seemed to acknowledge is a very good source regarding Cincy sports, where he stated that the OSU offer was the one Hendrix had been waiting for. Things could have changed since then but if this is truly his dream offer then maybe we're still in good shape. I'm not familiar with the poster's track record so I'll link the thread for reference.

Just adding something, I'm sure someone else said it. So he was "blown away" maybe "close to commiting" on his visit to ND. I'll wait to take anything away from this news until he visits tOSU.
However, the recent scout thing on ND really going to make a push for Hendrix, concerns me more as I just don't see JT and staff pulling all the stops for a QB this year, JMO.

Things that I think our facts:
Fact-(One):Andrew Hendrix will decide to go 2 college somewhere.
FactTwo:At OHIO State, there is, in;fact a college//University that allows the SAT, (2) b-taken upon prior acceptance procedure for certification enrollment here.
Fact Thrice: I think Andrew will give :osu: a good look.

could read it either way.

Wants to visit ND to confirm they are his choice

or

Wants to visti ND again to confirm OSU is his choice.

IMO, If he had his mind made up to go to ND, why would he need to visit again?

To commit in person?

I don't know either way, but I'm not getting a warm fuzzy feeling right now out of this one personally...

Could be but I'm thinking he seemed a lot more enthusiastic about ND...i think we're going o'fer. No way he makes a second trip to south bend and walks away picking OSU imo.
