As I was working my cashier job at Old Navy, a man came up to me with a few items to purchase. Nothing different about this transaction than any other. I scanned one item. Scanned another. Next item, a blue shirt with the most ugly piss-colored block *.

Kindly, I inquired if he was a Michigan fan (obviously he is, I just needed to hear it for my own satisfaction). He was. A Michigan native in fact.

I told him I'm from Ohio. Big Buckeye fan.

His response: "Oh.."

And all I could do was smile to myself, knowing that was all that needed to be said.
 
I've run into so many Buckeye fans down here around and in Disney since I got here on Saturday, and its always nice to get a loud "I-O!" back when I'm working or enjoying the parks. A little Buckeye pride down here is a great thing. :oh:

Your response to "Oh..." should have been "I-O!"

This ia a true story. I swear that the state of Florida has just as many Buckeye fans and followers that equal the number of Florida Gator fans.
Three years ago at a local florida establishment, i was in for a couple of drinks and a person asked if i was a big Buckeye and where i came from.
I told him originally from Struthers Ohio but have been in Florida since 89'

He too was originally from the same area and then as we talked further
he said that i looked familiar and we found out from each other that i was his basketball coach from grade school back in 78' His name is John Lucansky and lives 10 minutes away from where i live. His father still lives in Struthers and we all get together now every year to play golf when John Sr., comes down from Ohio for visits. It just goes to show you that this is really a small world that we live on. I am always proud to be a buckeye and were my true colors of scarlet and gray wherever i go here in Florida. You here it all the time down here - "OH" And i come back with "IO" Then the chat sessions begin. Yep its great to be a Buckeye. :oh: :io:

Yeah, every time I go down to Florida on vacation I run into many tOSU fans/alumni. One time I was approached by about four 70-80 year old guys because I was wearing an Ohio State hat, and they talked to me for about 10 minutes about how they were alumni from the 50's. It was very cool.

I was in Epcot in 2007 and a guy decked out in Florida Gators stuff stopped me and asked me if I was ashamed to be wearing my OSU hat. If we hadn't been in a family place I would have decked the fucker and he knew it. He beat a hasty retreat laughing with his buddies while I told him to enjoy their championship, it doesn't last long.

i was in line at the haunted mansion about 3 weeks ago, and this happened with me! best damn fans in the land :oh:
