What a joke. Yea, let's blame it all on racist, power-tripping, drug-running police officers. Hey Dan, I bet you didn't report when charges got dropped against OSU players with the same zeal as when they were arrested, did you? Santonio, Pagac, etc.

I see Coker is still bearing scars from that night in the desert one and a half years ago.

Something tells me you won't hear Coach Tressel commenting on Miami's arrests the next time one of our guys screws up.

How consistent is it that Rolle's family members who are police officers must be fine, non-corrupt, non-racist people, but the officers who arrested Rolle were corrupt and racist? What if the arresting police officers were black, or latino? He makes fine points about the corruptive nature of a lot of police officers, however, he cannot apply it to one set of officers and not the other in order to make his story work.

Elmer Fudd needs to keep his yapper shut. The point about Ohio State's arrests is that Coach Tressel & Ohio State have owned up to their transgressions, have paid the price, and are working to correct a problem. Elmer Fudd needs to do the same before invoking a lame justification for having players get arrested. Don't justify it and point fingers at others--work to correct the problems in your own house. Ohio State had nothing to do with the model citizen in Miami allegedly committing a battery on a police officer.

A good chunk of Ohio State's arrests have had to do with underage drinking, a law that really isn't that morally reprehensible to most of our society. When the charges have been more serious (read: Irizzary), Ohio State has dealt with the players with swift and hard justice.
