Athlon ranks top twelve B1G teams of BCS era

BTW from the Athlon article write up on the 2010 team...

...Ohio State also defeated an SEC team for the first time in school history with a Sugar Bowl win over Arkansas...

Great fact checkers you have there Athlon.

You know what chaps my sneakers? It says for 2002 Buckeyes, "Championships: Big Ten Co-Champs,..." Ohio State was 8-0, and so was Iowa. I understand how that makes both teams co-champs. It even says the same thing for that Iowa team which comes in at #10.

But look at 2005 Penn State (#3 - HA!). They don't get the "co-" in front of "champs". They tied with Ohio State at 7-1.

Bah.

If it was made by ESPN, they would have found a way to get some SEC teams in there. The 2008 Florida team probably would have made it twice.

Hell, the 2012 Auburn squad would have been at the top of their "Best of the Big Ten" list.
