Another reason why I’m committing to Ohio State is the amazing coaching staff. I FaceTimed my future head coach Ryan Day at 1 a.m. and he still answered. When I told him the news, he was ecstatic and pumped that I was joining his team. I believe in Coach Day and what he’s building at Ohio State.

Competing for a national championship every year? Shoot, don’t ask me twice. Another coach that attracted me to OSU was secondaries coach Jeff Hafley. I was impressed with how much the defensive backs improved between my two visits. If he can do that in three weeks, imagine what he could do with me in three years.

Impressive commitment video.

Was at the top of my safety board along with RJ Mickens from the beginning. @RB07OSU compared him to Taylor Mays early on and I still think that fits. Could not be happier about a DB class that includes Phillips, Cavazos, Martinez and Ransom.

I'm with you, Ransom was my top safety in this class right up there with RJ. This DB class was just what the doctor ordered and Ransom might be the one I'm most excited about, he is going to be an enforcer in center field and has a ton of potential. Now we can swing for the fences on the final DB in the class. Excellent recruiting job by Day and Halfley. Welcome aboard Mr. Ransom!
