Bacon: American Treasure or Work of the Devil?

Bake it. Fry it. Even microwave it.

I went on a keto diet to take control of my T2D. Dropped my A1C from 10.1 to 5.7. Went from taking 80 units of insulin a day ( I was severely insulin resistant) to being taken off insulin. Cholesterol is down to 100 with triglycerides down to 90. Lost 60 pounds. Down to 210. The centerpiece of my diet is bacon. I love bacon.

Fry it with splatter guard and save the grease for later.

Yes, sir. Fried vegetables in bacon grease also a big part of how I eat now. My doctors hate me but I refuse to be a slave to the ADA and their partnership with Big Pharma anymore.
When I bake it in the oven I also save the grease from the pan. The last 12 months have been an awakening. I try not to preach about it. I get that not everyone can just quit carbs and do this but I hope more and more Americans come around and see that we are not meant to eat the amount of carbs that we do on a daily basis. :(
