Baltimore Orioles (3x World Series Champions)

All of the good to great pitching the Orioles had in the 60s and 70s and early 90s, Mike Mussina's prime plus guys like Jimmy Key and David Wells in their history, and John Means throws the first complete game no hitter while only facing the minimum batters possible.

*- edited for accuracy - he was a passed ball on a strike 3 from a perfect game.

Chris Davis is officially out for the 2021 season (he hadn't played yet anyway), arguably the worst extension in MLB history.

Not only did he suck ass the last 5 years while making $17 million annually, the Orioles will be paying him every year until he's 51 years old. Over the next decade, he'll be paid $3.5 million per year to not play baseball. He'll then have to get by on $1.4 million each of the next 5 years.

Bobby Bonilla's deferred pay may have lasted more years, but Bonilla didn't bat .150 over the last 3 years he actually played. Davis was a beast for two years - 2012 and 2013 - and cashed in as much as any man possibly could. Good work if you can get it.
