Baltimore Orioles (3x World Series Champions)

Mike Cuellar (20-9), Pat Dobson (20-8),Dave McNally (21-5), and Hall of Famer Jim Palmer (20-9) . The 1920 Chicago White Sox are the only other team in major league history to have four 20-game winners.

As rare as four 20 game winners on one staff is it will probably never happen again. Back in 1971 they used a 4 man rotation, today with a 5 man rotation the pitchers get about 8 (or so) fewer starts. Also today they get "yanked" earlier in the game which could preclude them from getting the "decision" (which could be a win).

And the hell of it is, that team didn't win the World Series that year....

They did win it the year before when they "only" had 3 20-game winners....

19 straight games allowing 5 or more runs.....JFC. Even the Reds can't manage that level of epic fuckery.

You have already repressed the memories of the Reds bullpen setting the MLB record by allowing at least one run in 23 straight outings? It was just last year.

The Reds are an inadequate collection of needledicks, chokers and flat out no talent ass clowns but what they will never do is take a back seat to anyone in fuckery.

Anyone

We may not know exactly what it is but we can all rest assured, whatever the Reds are working on behind the scenes, will always blow whatever epic fuckery some other team has accomplished out of the water.

19 straight allowing 5 or more runs? The Reds are probably cooking something up to the tune of 20 straight scoring 0 runs.

Never, never, underestimate those horse cock chuggers.

So we are 8 days away from Pitchers and Catchers reporting:

This team has 3 open starting pitcher spots, Manny Machado is going to sign somewhere else, Adam Jones is gone after this year too, Kevin Gascan and Dylan Bundy would be #4 or #5 pitchers in literally any other organization and Zach Britton's injury means the Orioles will miss out on his contract year as well.

70-92....at best. probably worse once they trade Machado in May and Jones in July.

Could be worse.

The Reds know exactly who all 40 of their guys will be.
