What are your favorite shoes of all time? For aesthetic value, historical, or just to play ball in?

For me, I currently play in the Kobe V's and I think they're some of the best shoes ever made, for function.

I'm extremely interested in purchasing the new Kobe VII's. I tried them on at a local Footlocker and they fit like a glove, and the traction and weight is amazing. Might be the perfect shoe. Would love to test them on the court.

My favorite shoes of all time that I played in would be the Jordan XVII, XVIII, and the original Lebron's (Nike Air Zoom Generations). The original Lebron's were pretty phenomenal from what I remember.

I wish I had the money for some Jordan XI's, just for the novelty. At a $350+ price tag, fat chance.

Crazy 8's. Kobe shoes when he was with Adidas. Love these. Very light and form fitting. Currently own the black with red.

These were the team shoes popular in like 96 or 97. You could get any color strap to match your school. I don't particularly remember liking the shoe, just remember having the straps.

I'm a Nike snob when it comes to basketball shoes though. Never have bought anything else.

Graduated to the Converse Pro Leather in 1983.

Finally the pinnacle. Air Jordan I, 1985. Cost me $65. That was a lot of money as a 13 year old 7th grader.

I'm definitely a snob when it comes to playing basketball. I ALWAYS play indoor. Even if it's on the dusty LA Fitness floors.
