Comic books to movies... (changed from just "batman")

I'm SOOOOO looking forward to this movie. Looks much better than that Batman's a celebrity crap Joel Schumacher did.
The trailer looks a lot like the comic book. Very dark

Did anybody see The Machinist with Christian Bale?

It will be hard not to top the last one. From a fat Alicia Silverstone to Arrhold's fucking corny lines that movie was awful.

Movies based on comics (with the exception of Spider-Man) mostly suck. They eff around with the characters that people have loved for 50+ years, and mostly eat alphabet soup and shit out a script.

Anyone seen the pics from the upcoming Fantastic Four movie? This looks like another winner. I think I could do a better job of making the Thing and Doctor Doom costumes:

That being said, I will check out the Batman movie, but my hopes aren't high.

I didn't think they could make anything look cheesier than Daredevil, but I think they may accomplish it with FF.

If you think people on Bucknuts are crazy, you should read some of the stuff in the Superherohype.com forums. I was reading it for laughs when it was announced that Spiderman would have organic webs in the movie instead of the mechanical ones in the comic books. There were a lot of 40 year old male virgins committing suicide in their mothers' basements when that was announced.
