Game Thread BCS Championship Game, tOSU vs. Florida - Jan 8th

The Man

The truth
ok well it may or may not be Florida but if they jump UM in the computer like is speculated it all falls to the voters. Can't wait to see what happens. As for the game, Florida is too gimmicky and I think OSU scores at will.

I will refuse to walk down the "we won't have a problem with them" path. Miami sure wasn't going to have any problem with the 2002 Buckeyes. Now way 2005 Texas could go toe to toe with the greatest team ever assembled. LSU - even in spite of OU's loss to K-State in 03, was no match for "the Greatest Team of All Time!"

Florida, while winning ugly, will present some match up problems to deal with. Not to say Ohio State can't deal, of course. But, take a look at Percy Harvin.

Doesn't Arkansas losing potentially move ND up in the BCS standings, thus helping Michigan by ways of SOS? I think it going to come to a few thousandths of a point that decides whether it is Florida or scUM.

Supposedly UF will jump UM in the computer standings, so I guess the Arkansas thing really won't matter. Comes down to the two polls.

I will walk down the path of we won't have trouble with Florida. I seriously don't think they can hang with us. If we play a pretty much mistake free game, I truly don't believe they can stay with us. They have squeaked by WAY too many opponents this year. I'm confident. I can always be wrong, but I REALLY like our odds against the gimmicky Gators.
