I disagree about the post-season chances. Should we beat MSU on their court, we finish tied with them in conference at 12-6. Three other teams currently sit at 11-5 (Maryland, Iowa, Wisconsin) with neither of them playing each other during their last two conference games...Maryland and Iowa also both play Indiana, who leads the conference at 13-3. Should each of these three teams lose one of their last two conference games--along with us beating Sparty--there would be a five-way tie for second in the conference at 12-6. Then if we win at least two games in the conference tournament, that would put us a 22-12 for the season with a runner-up finish in the B1G tourney. Should we win the B1G tourney, that would give us the auto bid along with a very respectable 23-11 season record. Now, this scenario isn't likely to happen, but far stranger things have happened near the end of the basketball regular season...
