Best Actors - not in enough movies

Gobucki

I'm using the Internet!!!
[font=verdana, arial, helvetica]So I'm flipping through the channels the other day, and I stop on ESPN 2 for a moment when I see, what else, 3. Sure the movie sucks to no end, but I think Barry Pepper did a fantastic job in this role. And I realized that I loved his role in a lot of other movies, including 61, Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan, and the Knockaround Guys (which also sucked, but Pepper did good).

No I am not revealing my man crush, but just that Pepper is a great actor that I don't think gets a chance at many good roles. So, here is my list of actors/actresses that are not in enough movies.

1. Pepper
2. Ed Norton - Been in quite a few the last 7 years, but nothing decent since Fight CLub in '99.
3. Michael Keaton - although it has been tough to see him as anything other that Batman.
4. Mark Ruffalo
5. Liv Tyler (Bite me, I think she's good)
6. Hugo Weaving - Unbelievable job in two trilogies
7. Sam Rockwell - I laugh every time I look at him
8. Eric Bana - Only thing worth watching in Troy. Awesome in Chopper.

I agree about Ed Norton- he's great.

Also:
Don Cheadle
Cheadle is awesome. His short, "Ticker," at BMW Films is brilliant.

Personally, I think Joey Pantoliano needs to be in more movies. Whether he's playing Cypher in the Matrix, Guido the Killer Pimp in Risky Business, or his roles in the movie Bound (great, great flick) and the Sopranos ... he steals every scene he's in.

Oh, and where the hell is Harrison Ford? I wish he'd make as many movies as Jude Law. :wink2:

Oh, and where the hell is Harrison Ford

He said long ago that he would only make one movie per year so it didn't interfer with his family. Right now he is filming "The Wrong Element"

I agree with Edward Norton... American History X is one of my favorite movies... he was robbed of an Oscar that year.

He also played Roger Maris in HBO's 61

Yeah.. I figured that out, and he was a good little sniper too... but anyway... I'm sure I'll never get to appreciate the art he shares with us all in "3". :wink2:

There is no doubt about who I would want to see in more movies. Curtis Armstrong. Thats right, you may say "Who the Fuck is Curtis Armstrong?" But you know him. He has a range of characters you would not believe, and a repertoire of classic movies to his credit unmatched in Hollywood. He continually stretches himself to the pinnacle of his craft to become ever more diverse characters. So who is Curtis Armstrong, you have loved him for so long, yet never knew his name.

Thats right, Booger. From classics such as Revenge of the Nerds 1,2 and 4. Better off Dead, Risky Business, and countless others where he played the exact same character. Curtis Armstrong needs to be in more movies.
