Best Albums of 2009 (so far)

3 Inches of Blood - Here Awaits thy Doom
Megadeth - Endgame
Porcupine Tree - The Incident
Transatlantic (progressive supergroup) - The Whirlwind
Dethklok - Dethalbum II
Sylvan - Force of Gravity

The last one is noteworthy because though I love prog, I generally find Sylvan to be garbage. Their latest effort is WAY too enjoyable for me to believe it's actually them.

Girls - Album

Listened to that one a few times - still can't quite get into it yet, though I do like the single, "Hellhole Ratrace".

Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest

By far, the best release that I have heard this year.

I've started to come around on this one. Don't think it'll make my personal top five for the year, but it's in my rotation right now and I can't get enough of "Southern Point".

Glam Metal is back:banger:

I agree excellent CD, but Megadeth - Endgame is Megadeth's Best work.

hmm...need to check out Megadeth's new album, given "Rust in Peace" is arguable the best metal album I've ever heard.

Also, I am curious to hear your opinion on Alice in Chains new album. I liked the recently released track.....check my brain.
