Lebron James to a bigger market, probably someone like NY or LA.:wink2:

Really tho, I don't think anyof those guys will go anywhere.

Z just got his big deal, if we trade Snow we are stuck with Jones at point, No one will want Jones and Gooden is staying put.

When Hughes comes back...

Look for some movement possibly with Pavlovic, Gooden, or Jackson. Sasha's stock has gone up tremendously, but the team just doesn't see a high ceiling for him. Jackson probably doesn't have much value. Gooden will only go if in a package with Pavs, because alone he wouldn't bring in anyone of substantial quality.

AV and Big Z are probably untouchable at this point. Jones and Snow aren't going anywhere. (no market)

At this point though, I say don't trade anybody. Tweaking a team that obviously isn't looking at a title this year would be futile. Let's see if this team can continue to gel before we mess with it anymore.

I doubt any of them get moved, but Gooden has the greatest likelihood of that group since his contract is up after this season anyway. I don't think Ferry and Brown would be willing to part with Gooden's offense, but they could use a dominate defender at PF. They already have Varejao back which helps fill that need, but a guy like Danny Fortson would be a good fit (although not worth Gooden in a trade).
I'd say anyone except Lebron, Hughes, Z, Marshall, Jones, and Varejao are expendable for the right deal. Of course if Minnesota called up and said we'll give you KG for Hughes, Gooden, and Jackson I'd say ok.
Snow isn't an option for a trade because I doubt anyone would want to pick up his contract.
Z is one of the top 5 centers in the league and can't be replaced.

Or Tim Duncan. Or Shaquille O'Neal. Or Jermaine O'Neal.

Well, you get the unrealistic point.

Those guys aren't at the point where they would want to get off of a bad team like KG probably does. I heard several times over this weekend that the T-wolves are pretty much at the point where they need to blow it up and start over. A trade for KG would require someone else with a max deal (i.e. Hughes) to go through along with an expiring contract and or a good young player.

Who do the Pacers have that the Cavs would trade Jackson for at this point? I would have given them Jackson for Artest, but that's about it.

I'd take Peja for Luke and Sasha. I'm not going to hold my breath, though. :tongue2:

I went with Gooden. I just can't see anyone wanting Snow or Jones or the Cavs giving up any of the other players with any value right now.

There's no way the T-Wolves trade KG. They just entered into a stupid trade with the Celtics to bring in an absolute cancer in Ricky Davis because they thought it would please KG.

No Franchise is going to rebuild around a Ricky Davis and Larry Hughes. If the T-Wolves are going to rebuild, they're going to want some solid young talent with unlimited potential. And I just don't see anywhere in the league where that's possible. They would have to trade him to the Hawks for Marvin Williams and a couple throw-ins or something. But not to the Cavs for anyone less than one Lebron James.

You don't just rebuild in the NBA. You get lucky. The Cavs got lucky. If the TWolves trade Garnett, the only way they have any sentiment of a marketable product in the future would be if they lucked out and got Oden in 2007.

That's just crazy talk. I would take just about anybody on that team for Luke - but if I had my choice, I'd certainly take Danny Granger.

Ok I meant that the Pacers wouldn't give up anyone that I would trade Jackson for. I would take Granger, Jackson, Tinsley, and O'neal, but probably not anyone else. Neither team would be willing to take that trade.

What would you do if you ran the T-wolves and KG came to you and said "I've given you everything I have and you have shit on me, get me out of here"? Just winning the lottery doesn't mean that a team will hit it big. The first pick the past 2 years hasn't been a star right away and I don't think there is one next year either. If Oden is 1 and done he sounds like one. The T-Wolves could trade away KG, suck next year and hope to get a good player in the draft after the season.

I would tell KG "sorry, but you're under contract." Like I said, they would have to get lucky. There's plenty of shitty teams in the league right now, and they'd have to hope that they were the one to grab the one of the possibly two superstars that may actually get drafted in the next two years. They're not taking that risk. The fact is, they're already shitty. They will be in the lottery next year. And maybe they'll get lucky and get someone to put with KG.

Or they could trade for Stephon Marbury again...:slappy: I hear Isaiah is interested in trading for Ricky Davis and would be willing to take on half of Marbury's contract to get him.... :slappy:
