Best guess to end season in a different uniform

Here's my new dream trade scenario:

Bulls get: Gooden and Newble
Cavs get: Duhon (Gordon if they'll give him up) and Nocioni
Views: The Bulls need a big man who can score, the Cavs need a PG that can run the offense defend and make some shots. Gordon is a better offensive threat than Duhon, but Duhon is a better defender and ball handler. After watching the Bulls game last night Gordon is able to drive to the hoop well so if he can learn to drive and kick he would be awesome with Lebron and Hughes. Gordon is also a good outside shooter. Duhon has been injured and his stats aren't as good this season. Nocioni is Newble, but can shoot. Newble might be a better on the ball defender, and should be completely healthy after the break. The Cavs need Nocioni thrown in the trade to make up for the loss of Gooden's scoring. Nocioni's a 43% 3 pt shooter. I would give the Bulls Gooden and their choice of Pavlovic or Jackson rather than Newble if they would trade Hinrich and Nocioni.

Sonics get: Henderson
Cavs get: Fortson
Views: Henderson isn't playing much for the Cavs now that Varejao is back. Fortson isn't playing much for the Sonics because the coach doesn't like him. This trade would give the Sonics a hard working PF/C that has played well when he has played. The Cavs get a very physical PF that would be able to give them 10 to 15 bruising minutes a game before fouling out. This would help them match up better with Eastern powers Detroit and Miami. Fortson played at Cincy and might like to come back to Ohio.

I would do both of those trades in a heartbeat, but I think Hinrich is oe of the cornerstones for the Bulls right now so I don't think that scenario is possible... as much as I'd like it to be.

However, I wouldn't be devastated if the Cavs made no moves before the deadline either. I think we will make a solid run in the playoffs when Hughes comes back.

I agree. The Cavs are in a good position because they don't have to make any trades. They are going to be in the playoffs this season. The only reason I would make a deal at all is if they can get a PG that will be able to start for them and be able to give them everything they need from a PG or if they want to get some value out of Gooden before losing him as a FA this off season. They have to figure out if Gooden is more valuable to them as a Cav for the rest of the season or what they can get for him in a trade.
