Best Sandwich in the Country

I just thought of another- the rueben at Corky and Lenny's in Cleveland (actually an eastern 'burb, but I forget which one.). I think they're closed now, but that was an awesome sandwich. Traditional Jewish deli- Yum!
Corky and Lennys is still open but it might not be in the same place it used to be. I was in cleveland about 6 months ago and everytime I'm there I make it a point to go to Corky and Lennys.

i used to go to the nette for flavored cokes (vanilla, cherry and chocolate) years ago while going to tremont elem.....
26 years ago I ate my first meal outside the womb at the Nette. My father took me at about age 1 week and tried feeding me blueberry pancakes. I believe it was the waitress who finally convinced him he shouldn't be feeding a newborn whole chunks of pancakes. Been hooked on Chef-O ever since...

Unfortunately while in college at Fordham, there was a White Castle strategically placed on the walk back from all the bars to my apartment. 4 AM and a Crave Case are not a good mix...

Ditto what ScarletInMy Veins said - Corky's ain't what it used to be. BTW, there were two locations - the Cedar Road location closed, the one on Chagrin Blvd in Woodmere is still open.

For good deli, Katzinger's in German Village is excellent, as is Zingerman's in Ann Arbor (one of the few redeeming qualities of that god-forsaken town). In Cleveland, the best delis are Slyman's on St. Clair and Goodman's at Pearl and Brookpark; Joe's Fine Deli on Hilliard in Rocky River is decent, too.

Alright, I've read this entire 3 page thread hoping to find out what place in C-bus has the best Italian sub...and nobody's telling. What gives? The best I've found is at Thurman's (which was mentioned for its excellent burgers), but I'm an Italian sub addict, and so I want to know...where is the best Italian sub in Columbus?

Jersey Mike's is ok, but nothing outstanding. There's a great place in Mansfield, Ohio, called the Leaning Tower, that has the best hot (warm) subs ever. But last I heard, there was a gas explosion, so I don't know if they're around anymore. Nobody else has a great Italian sub in C-bus? Nuts.
