Best Sandwich in the Country

Even thought I started this thread :), I will venture off-topic too...best pizza? Tommy's is great, and still one of my favorites. But you can't have that discussion without talking about Rotolos on 5th Avenue...

In my old stomping grounds of NYC? I still love Mike's Pizza off Webster Avenue on 200 St. in the Bronx. Best Neapolitan pizza for my money...

The best meatball sub I have ever had was from a scary little joint across the street from the Sheraton in Alexandria,Va. The Nicaraguan dude behind the counter hardly spoke English, and the glass door had recently been shattered, but the meatball sub was out of this world-the sauce wasn't too thick or strong, covered w/ just the right amount of cheese and served piping hot.

As far as pizza goes, I am from the Cincinnati/Dayton area, so the only real contender is LaRosas-they opened up in Dayton last year and are becoming very popular.

What you want? Hot ot cold... We talking the Baked Pizzeria kind or the Deli Meat Variety?
Hot sub, of the deli meat variety. Something with a good dressing, toasted bun, a lot of meat and cheese. I'll have to check out Tommy's. I work very close to Whitehall (near the airport, actually), where is the Tommy's in Whitehall?
