BGSU walk on dies at practice

I dont know if anyone has posted on this, I looked around and saw nothing. But Aaron Richardon, a Sandusky Perkins graduate, and a freshman walk on at Bowling Green collapsed today 10 minutes into his first practice and died in a Wood County hospital short after. Today was BG's first day for walk ons to practice. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

My condolences also. Kind of strange that he collapsed after only 10 minutes on the first day...definitely had to have had some sort of unknown medical condition.

Is there any evidence as to what caused his death? Health, hard hit, heat? That is a terrible situation in any case. My prayers go out to the family.

I just talked to my girlfriend who graduated from Perkins a year before Aaron and attends BGSU. She said their is no evidence as to what caused his death. The only thing that is being said right now is he became ill 10 minutes into practice and collapsed. ESPN has been running news headlines at the bottom of the screen about it for a couple hours.

My thoughts and prayers to the man's family and friends (and teammates). ESPN has been running the marquis that says he was "sick" but I don't know what that means...

I hate when things like this happen. It makes me think of KS. It seems like practice is more dangerous than the game. I don't really know what else to say...it's just sad.
