Could the travishamockery that is the Big East be spiraling to its fiery crash?

Aside from the main goal of destroying those who would deem it in their interest to bend over and let ND no-lube them, some of the collateral damage is fucking beautiful. So, so many sweet, sweet tears to enjoy.

  • Duke and Coach Krezoowski finding out where they really stand in the natural order of things.
  • The potatards having to go groveling back--Peterbilt hat in hand--to the MWC
  • And, will we ever see the likes of this shit again?

1) they never should have left
2) Utah shouldn't have left either, but who can blame them
3) with those two schools, the MWC is a BCS conference.
4) the MWC might STILL be a BCS conference when the dust settles.
5)

Are the B ball schools entitled to a share of the exit fees? If so, I doubt they would vote to disband before the fees were collected.

Eventually, the Catholic schools from the Big East will hook up with the A10 to form a basketball league. This wil give ND somewhere to park their non-football sports once everyone else wises up to what a lousy conference member they make.

GT lands the B1G squarely in SEC territory.
what other "available" school does that?

correct. we don't have counties, we have parishes.

and Mardi Gras is the pinnacle of debauchery.
something we do better than anyone else.

no thank you.
i don't want to lose any of our current rivalries.

if we change conferences, our entire schedule will be filled with forced rivalries that just don't feel like rivalries.
in other words will play 8 games against Arkansas.

Yeah I wasnt serious....it would make no sense but.....if the SEC joined with the B1G and called themselves the BEC then divided the divisions into the Union and Confederacy you would have somthing

I don't see Xavier, Georgetown or Marquette suffering for lack of a football program.

What does that have to do with NCAA BB tournament credits?

Edit: OK it looks like if they dissolve the league each team gets to keep their credits. So that would be far more attractive than the BB splitting off (where the credits would remain with the league).

The following policies also apply when a conference’s membership changes or realignment occurs:

a. If an institution leaves a conference and realigns with another and its original conference remains in operation, the units it earned remain with the conference that it left.

b. If an institution leaves a conference to become an independent, the units that institution earned are retained by the conference that it left.

c. If an independent institution joins a conference, it retains the unit(s) it earned as an independent prior to the date it elected to join the conference; any units the institution earns subsequent to that date accrue to the conference.

d. If a conference disbands, each institution retains the units it earned in the basketball fund.

e. If an institution leaves a conference and the conference falls below the six-member requirement, the units remain with the conference for a one-year period; however, if the conference then later disbands, those units return to the basketball fund.

f. If fifty (50) percent or more of the member institutions in a given conference leave the conference simultaneously and the remaining conference membership falls below six member institutions, the conference shall be considered disbanded and each member institution shall retain the units it earned in the basketball fund as if the conference had in fact disbanded (for the purposes of the basketball fund distribution).
