It seems too many people are missing the big issue here. This issue leads to a determination of either the failure of Delaney or the prophecy of what is to come.

Football is becoming entirely too difficult to watch. Crimsons have become magentas, and scarlets have become reds. What team are we cheering for? Colors have receded to their most primary tendencies. In adding Maryland and Rutgers, Ohio State has seen its prominence further diluted by the reds of the world, confusing all of us who are confused by things.

Reducing maize to yellow (as opposed to WTF), along with gold, and crimson to red and so forth, we have currently the following distribution of B1G colors:

The colors in the chart do not relate to colors. They relate to words. This is a thinking man's exercise.

As can be clearly seen above, red, being purple, is way too prominent now with the additions of the new schools. However, two common colors, being green and purple, or bluish and purplish respectively, are underrepresented. orange, or orange, is also lacking in the B1G, but is also ugly.

Either Delaney failed or we can foresee from the chart what new schools will join the B1G.

I am guessing that we will soon see schools added that will fill the color gaps. I am compiling a breakdown of all colors of all teams and of their players to better determine who our new members will be.

No we are not adding Kansas State, Oklahoma State and South Florida.

NCSU Board of Trustees to have emergency meeting Wednesday

The trustees are having an emergency meeting Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. The meeting is to discuss "the amount of compensation and other material terms of an employment agreement contract or future employment contract," according to a school news release.
Davenport said the trustees have not been told the nature of the meeting, and said the trustees are asked to approve contracts and deals for the school.
"They didn't tell us what contract we are approving," he said. "It could be a faculty contract. It could be athletics. It could be staff."
However, Davenport said such emergency meetings are unusual.
Could it just them hiring someone? Maybe but not likely.

There's a lesson to be learned in the destruction of the ACC. If you choose willingly and of your own volition to give sanctuary to the domers, you will be dealt with....harshly. Siege will be laid to your castle. Your people will starve. Your fields will be burned. Your slaves will be killed. Your children sold into perpetual slavery. You will be drawn and quartered and your entrails will be brought back to Chicago to decorate the Michigan Avenue bridge. The generations will echo with the howling lamentations of your women. No one will remember your name.

It's too late for the ACC, for their fate is sealed and their time is at hand. Other conferences listen up: don't give sanctuary to the domers.

FREEDOM!!!!!

Any news on what the Pac12 is thinking?

Personally, I think the P12 should be worried. If the Big 12 solidifies itself with eastern teams, then that could quite possibly leave the P12 with rather low caliber teams to pick from to fill a supposed quota. Berkeley and Stanford may have to accept BYU and their religious affiliation along with taking schools of lower academic standings.

ESPN "sources" say that Cincinnati is making a push to jump to the ACC. It says they're trying to make a case they're a more viable option than other Big East canidates, Louisville and UConn, in case the ACC is only taking 1 member to replace Maryland. The Big East is like a family torn apart, it's kind of sad. I'm not sure which is better for the ACC though, Louisville or Cincinnati.

None of the above. Taking any of these schools is like kissing your sister....

They're kind of doomed....seems like back channels are working overdrive. Taking a "C" level school will only speed up realignment, IMO.

Why don't the Big East and C-USA just merge already as a feeder for the ACC? I don't think any of the other Big East schools with a pulse need to worry. Once other schools start jumping off the sinking ACC ship they will probably be trying to raid C-USA as well after the Big East disappears.

The biggest question right now is what will the Pac12 do? There aren't any quality schools left out west and they won't be able to keep up if they stay at 12. They really need to find a way to break the Big 12 to steal Texas, OK, OK St and someone else to force the Big12 and ACC to merge. If the Big12 starts pulling schools from the ACC the Pac12 will be SOL.
