You want a Herman less Houston?

I assume if UH made P5 status, he'd stick around for awhile. And they'd be in the West fwiw.

Agreed. On the other side of the coin, if BYU doesn't like the B12 making them change, don't go there. But I assume that after years of oppressive archaic bull[Mark May], they'll be on their knees quicker than a sister wife. For money.

The weird thing is, thoygh, that conference already has several such institutions... they're just xian
Regardless what BYU's rape policy is on paper, it's probably a lot better than what actually goes on in Waco.

It does seem like BYU is getting punished for the sins of Baylor. The whole thing could just be a ruse to torpedo expansion.

I have to admit that this Vic Ferrari guy has some game when it comes to dealing with the random juggalo that might cross his path.

I like the cut of Vic's jib. Perhaps if Cincy has a scandal he can organize a Gathering of [Ohio's BCS] Juggaloes . . .

Also, this Cornfield Spartan seems like he has potential: "Purdue is league's ahead of Cincinnati academically, but if they wanted to swap Purdue (not gonna happen) I'd prefer they get one with a better reputation than Cincy. Trump University maybe."

Fuck BYU. Their honor code prohibits "Homosexual Behavior". While they certainly have a right to the ridiculousness, I'm very interested to find out if they comprise their "code" for cold hard cash.
I can't imagine that TCU or Baylor are any more tolerant - not to even suggest accepting. Will say this, the Elders once held that LDS members had to be white and not drink Coca-cola. Successive Elders changed both. They could do the same with gay lifestyles. In that sense they are no different than most Protestant congregations or the RC's.

Remember when this thread was about AAU accreditation and TV markets?

Good times ... Good times ...

With BYU, it's not just about the gay issue. They have fundamental academic freedom issues. They've even been censured by the AAUP for ousting professors who refuse to tithe to the Mormon Church. Think about that for a moment. That's not ND or Georgetown. Hell, I couldn't imagine that happening even at Baylor. That kind of crap puts BYU firmly in the Bob Jones/Liberty realm as an academic institution.

Now, I don't know how much the B12 cares about that. It, however, is why BYU will never come close to sniffing a PAC invite.
