I've mentioned previously that I'm a big fan of using 'Western' for one of the division names but strangely I would prefer to see it coupled with something other than an 'Eastern' division.

Something along the lines of: Western & Atlantic (especiall since it looks like the B1G is trying to annex half the ACC).

Zurp I have misplaced my pants.

How about "Crap - Ohio State wins our division every year" and "Yay - Ohio State isn't in our division".

Since it is all about the money anyway, I say let Delaney get a "corporate sponsor" like Miller Lite (and call one division "Less Filling" and the other "Great Taste"):

If they do that and insist on splitting up Ohio State and Michigan you know Ohio State has to go in the "Great Taste" division while TSUN is a no-brainer to head up the "Less Filling" side of things.

I like it. Some traditionalists may want to see us match-up with more of the traditional Big 10, but getting Maryland and Rutgers in our division will help us with recruiting for both the football team and university enrollment.

I think it was a foregone conclusion that both OSU and UM would be in the east. If we are going to go hardcore on the cable TV deals you need to bring your big guns with you, and putting Michigan and OSU versus Rutgers and Maryland more often is the way to do that.

With all due respect to the Nebraska and Northwestern faithful...This has to be the single greatest day in Wisconsin football history. On the bright side though..Penn State fans should know they'll never finish higher than third in the division..with all the conspiracies against them and what not.
