Having Galloway at WR was useless because every DC knew the QB couldn't get him the ball.

For those too young to remember, or those who have repressed the memories of '88-'92, Kirk Herbstriet was a godawful QB. He was Steve Bellisari 1.0.

You haven't seen anything that bad in the 21st century and yes, that includes the arm punt guy in 2011.

Put it another way, he was a worse passing QB than he is an actor and you saw him try to act with his tearful on air moment the other day so let that sink in.

"Tearful on air moment"??

Edit.

Google is my friend, dear god, wtf was that? The message I understand, but the fake ass crying... come on Ken, cut some onions or something...

The B1G football season starts tonight:

* Illinois at Wisconsin (-19 ½), 8 p.m. (Big Ten Network) – The first Big Ten game of the 2020 season comes to us from Camp Randall Stadium, where Wisconsin will be out for blood after Illinois upset the Badgers 24-23 on a late field goal last year in Champaign. Wisconsin was a 30-1/2 point favorite in that game. While the Badgers welcome in a new starting quarterback in redshirt freshman Graham Mertz, Illinois returns its starter from a year ago in Brandon Peters. Should be a good one for a half but the Badgers and new RB Nokia Watson should pull away late. Wisconsin 34-17
