Does anyone else get the feeling that Minny is going to get exposed as an overachiever for most of the year? I realize that they beat us twice, but when you watch these guys play you get the sense that they shouldn't win and they are just getting the benefit of their opponent missing open shots.
The player that drives me nuts more than any other in the country is Vincent Grier. I swear the guy has no coordination and a terrible looking jump shot. I realize he hustles and plays hard defense, but he rarely makes a deep shot, looks like he's going to lose the ball on every drive and resembles a drunk bull in a china shop in the lane.
Maybe it's just me being bitter because his crap manages to fall in, but you get the feeling that with the Big Ten having a down year, this guy will get exposed the first time teams realize they should let him shoot instead of giving him drives and fouling him. Sometimes it's like wat***** Bambi learn to walk all over again with this team.
...Could we have played worse against them this year and still almost won?
