We're going to be trying something a little different this season. Some time ago BitTorrent came out with a clever bit of software called Sync. It allows what amounts to a private torrent network that allows you to download and sync files out of a shared (by all users) folder that is maintained by its admins.
My intention is to put every single torrent we've had (at least all the ones I have) into this folder, which will have subfolders for each of the seasons. As 2015 progresses, the plan is that @BUCKDUBBS007 will make the completed game video available as a direct download to me, I will (in turn) pull it down and place it into the shared folder at which time it will be immediately available to all of you (and at 5-7 Megabits up, we should be able to get the party started faster). Just like with a normal torrent approach, as more people pull down and host the games, the faster downloads will be.
That process is subject to change, BUCKDUBBS007 and myself will be the initial folder admins with write/edit/delete privs, everyone else will have read/sync privs -- we should be good to go.
Here's the better news. Sync is available on virtually all platforms. What this means is you can pull a specific game down on to your phone, sync part or all of the folders and games on your PC or Mac, different games to your tablet -- whatever you want. If your device supports the format then you can watch games right on your phone...
I will let Sync run on a dedicated box, there will be no more need to ask for seeders.

Check it out, fire it up. I will post a QR Code and an alphanumeric key here tomorrow. All you have to do is either scan the QR or enter the key, and you're immediately part of the closed network. BitTorrent Sync doesn't have additional dependencies, you don't have to deal with third party torrent software, you don't have to go through third party trackers. Everything will be handled between members of our little network.
Yes, lurkers, this will work for you too. It is not tied into our database, so people from other sites who only come here for the games will be able to partake (see, we're not so bad).
