BJ Mullens season debut

Had 13 points in a 74-61 win over my high school Licking Heights. Just over Thanksgiving, my dad asked me what happened to LH and World Harvest, I explained to him that Heights was spiraliing out, and Harvest had some 6'10" that was already committed to OSU as a freshman. He said, "Oh".

EDIT: Sorry, may want to merge this into another thread. I apologize.

I didn't see the game personally, as I am not in central ohio right now. But I was told that he looked raw in his post moves. I understand that Heights did not play hardly any man-to-man and that Mullens' teammates apparently did not know how make a lob post entry pass. No one is going to try and guard a 6-10 guy straight up in his league, so this may become a recurring theme this year.

I highly suggest that he transfers to a school in the future where he can face better competition.

Yeah, the only problem is when Bruce died Brookhaven's program has kinda gone down. Id expect him to go there, MIfflin, or possible Beechcroft. That is what I would do go to one of those schools to develop under a better team. Though, Africentric is a real possibilty too.

Off topic, but did you live in the Stadium Scholarship Program StadiumDorm?

I was in it for 3 years after it moved to Mack, and I'm on some sort of committe about it nowadays

I totally expect Mullens to transfer or World Harvest to step up in a big way. Mullens needs competition so he can develop his talent, and no offense to Harvest Prep, but they don't have the strongest schedule in the world.

He's welcome to transfer down to Lancaster :)
