BKW is so fucking overated by Americans is laughable. I lived in Belguim for a while in the mid-1980s and had th eopportunity to go the Germany on business a few times. Everyone in the world was driving either a BMW or a Mecedes it seemed. Tyhe very high-end BMWs are very good cars, but for quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction (I hate to sound like a commercial), Lexus has long been the front-runner. Also, the most expensive car Lexus makes I know of is the SC430, which retails under $60,000 and is one of the finest 2-seater luxury sports cars in the world. Tell me what the high-end BMWs run...I'm guessing in the $80,000-$100,000.

First... Screw replacing the Z-8 with the Z-4(M)....Which wouldn't happen.. as the Z-8 is its own animal and is viewd by the COmpany as a competition to the high MB convertibles... the Z-4 is more of a competitor for the Honda/Mazda/Lotus Elise segment... Second... IMO... dump the Z-4 anyway... its ugly as sin. I hate the car....


Second... I doubt my German Eagle Avatar tells you which dog I have in this fight... (That and my Red 325is)... but whatever. If you want a reliable overwrought luxurized Toyota... then that's what you should buy.... hell maybe they'll throw is a minivan for the wife...

I'd buy a Lexus if I had to... but only after I'd cut off my own penis and set myself on fire... So I suppose it would naver happen... becasue if I had the money for a new Lexus and but not enough for a new BMW... I'd buy a used BMW.

Yeah... the 6-series is a coupe... and so will the 4's if we ever actually get them here for real... I guess the one series will not get here for at least another 2 years... if at all....

I'm a Benz fan myself...

The LS is a nice car, but I'd go with an E class (The base LS is 56,000... the base E class is $48,795). It's a heck of a nice car and is much cheaper (I know the LS is priced in the 740/S class)... I'm also a big fan of Jags :biggrin: :biggrin:

I guess I look at Lexus as toyotas with many more options... that prob. isn't fair, but that is how I look at them. BMW's are nice cars, however they seem to attract the younger buyer who tends to be leveraged to his eyeballs (I know generalization, but alot of the younger folks flock to the three series). The C class has younger drivers as well, however I tend to think they are the Volvo/Saab type folks... the C Sport Coupe needs to be shut down, that car is a plain eyesore IMO (sorry if anybody has one)...

All the cars are very nice, and cost a bundal to fix... it is just a matter of what you want, and what look you preffer... none of the cars are "bad" per say...
