Boston-Atlanta First round series

Paul Pierce = not clutch

I have full faith that the Celtics will pull out the series, but I just hope the Cavs can close out the Wizards Wednesday so they can watch the Celtics wear themselves out against the young quick Hawks. As good as the Celtics are they are an older team that will get worn down by long playoff series.

This was a huge win for the Cavs chances in round 2...I continue to watch the Hawks get offensive rebounds and thing that Z, Big Ben, Andy, and Joe Smith will be able to get those...

They weren't able to stop Joe Johnson one on one, not sure how they will stop LBJ...

West and Boobie will spread the floor...

We may struggle to guard both Pierce and Ray, but I think Wally, Brown, West, and Boobie will be able to guard Ray and LBJ can stay on Pierce...

You never know tho, if Atlanta could steal game 5, with what they have found that works, they might have a chance to steal this...It is a long shot, but you never know...Either way I would love to see this series go 6 to the Hawks or go the distance...

ATLANTA (AP)?The Boston Celtics were supposed to be resting up by now, getting ready for the next round of the playoffs.

Instead, they?re headed back to Beantown all tied up with the lowly Atlanta Hawks, who are starting to believe?really believe?they can shock the world.

Joe Johnson scored 35 points, 20 in the fourth quarter, and Josh Smith added 28 points and seven blocks for Atlanta, which surprised the Celtics again 97-92 on Monday night to even the best-of-seven series at two games apiece.

Contd...

Oh great... I can see it now, Atlanta & Philly beat Boston/Detroit and the Cavs make the finals again and all the media "complain" that Cleveland got another easy route to the NBA finals :paranoid:

I would love to see a Cavs/Lakers Final. I think the Kobe vs Lebron battle would be epic and get huge ratings.

The BP bank is going to make some $$$ on this bet.

Atlanta has played very well the past two games.......Boston has been their typical self......this has nothing to do with coaching.....just a young team with nothing to lose feeding off their crowd and making some shots.....I expect a different type of game in game 5........

The epic battle between Kobe and Lebron?

I think epics are suppose to have more than four chapters. This series would be a sweep for sure.

Yeah... LeBron OWNS Kobe in head to head matchups... So the Lakers being swept would not make for great TV

I am with you.....not much you can say....Atlanta has played very, very well at home.......not so much on the road.....it could get ugly in Boston on Wednesday......I give Atlanta all the credit, they hit some key shots.....Boston has gotten hit in the mouth.....it will be interesting how they respond at home.

I'm sure that was what he was going for. If the Cavs somehow make it to the Finals I would much rather them face the Lakers than the Spurs again or the Hornets for that matter.

Not so fast my friend...The Cavs were 2-0 against the Lakers this season and LBJ shut Kobe down, during the stretch run of both games...

We matchup better the Lakers than Denver...But the Lakers still have to go thru the Spurs, Hornets or Jazz...

As far as this series goes, I think that Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby need to control the game at Boston, they need to keep the young guys in and lead the team...If the game is close Joe Johnson showed in game 4 that he can get a good look for himself down the stretch...
