Only reasons I'm still watching are Tuesday night and football. Still have plenty of Ohio winter left for binge-watching shows.

I’ve been saying it for years, basketballs biggest problem is that violating the rules isn’t actually punitive, its sound defensive strategy and can be used as a substitute for timeouts. Get rid of the 1+1, make the bonus two shots and double bonus two shots plus possession of the ball. Problem solved.

And train the refs better. And take away all those damn timeouts. If the other team goes on 14-0 run...well figure it the F out on the court.

Last night was a real reality check. I think this is what rock bottom looks like. It's a total rebuild.

I had myself convinced that a 10 win season next year was possible with CBK and his new staff, but man this is going to be a journey. With the program currently in turmoil and us behind the NIL 8-ball I’m really hoping we’re even able to claw our way back from this.

Best case (unless something crazy happens in the portal):
2022-8 wins
2023-9 wins
2024-NY6 or playoff if go to 12 teams
2025-Championship contender

Props to LSU for showing up to the game and playing their hearts out. I know a certain team from up north who would've cancelled dut to pussification. There's one in Texas too that cancelled for the same reasons.

I'll root for LSU unless they're playing the Buckeyes. Last couple years showed some kids down there with a ton of heart. That's in my wheelhouse for respect.
