The only way you could get him off the DL and into your line up on the same day is if you have someone else on your roster hitting the DL, so you can swap them. Otherwise, if you're cutting a guy, it'll be the next day.

Polanco hits the DL, so he won't do anything for my team for the next ten days. He hasn't done anything for six weeks, but at least now I have a roster spot.

Getting my ass handed to me offensively this week. Pitching is saving it some but Serious is going with the "cut a guy as soon as his game is over to pick up someone else in order to throw 3 SPs out there every night and win the wins and Ks category by sheer number of pitchers" strategy. This week it may be working but if my bats were even virgin mary warm, it would be a different story.

Carlos Martinez just finished the 9th inning in what should be a complete game shutout and yet, if the Cardinals don't score in the bottom of the 9th, won't get a win (that is, if Martinez is done for the night.)
