First the Marlins and now the Cardinals. Are we having fun yet?
Don’t forget the Phillies, Blue Jays, Nationals, and Brewers who are all affected. And now more individual players are opting out, like my former outfielder Lorenzo Cain.

I can‘t even field a full team with all of the postponements. If it weren’t for the fact that I have missed sports for 4 months, I would’ve already said to hell with this bullshit.

Definitely glad we're doing this league separate from the regular one. This championship* will have a major asterisk, but it's better than no season at all.

I'm considering adding a couple of roster spots and putting all free agents on waivers for one day - tomorrow. It's the last day of the game week and teams could add bodies to help with Covid postponements. One night of waivers gives everyone a chance to make claims. Come Monday we'd revert back to the regular free agent/waiver rules.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Yeah, I don’t think six bench spots is cutting it. I had more than six players on my roster not playing this weekend just due to Covid cancellations. Add on a actual DTD or two, then you are not close to fielding a competitive roster.

On a different note, who would have thought my best draft choice would’ve been a Reds pitcher??? Here’s to the proverbial kiss of death to Sonny Gray! :drunks:

Well at least we all shitty together with the rosters getting dorked. Tighter than a rats ass ... View attachment 26310

My opponent doesn't even have a catcher on his roster ... WTF

Not sure if that’s me but I decided to forgo a catcher for the extra real bat on the bench when I need it (which is every night)

unless you have one of 2-3 guys, catchers are a complete waste.

All available players are now on waivers for today.

I'v added 2 bench spots. I also added a second N/A slot because guys, Mike Trout for example, go on there for family leaves, etc..

Make your claims today or wait until tomorrow when we go back to normal free agent/waiver rules.

I got a warning from Yahoo that guys who were already on waivers could have screwed up dates when changing waiver rules.

I see there's one guy whose date is August 10th. Don't think I can do anything about it.
