BP Modifications/Updates/Improvements Tracker

For the sake of BP watching it's own ass. Should this be applied to certain under 18 posters? These people already know what words are being censored out, but maybe their parents shouldn't be allowed to see them. Is it possible to just censor the words ,ala ****, or does the entire post get deleted?

Just the words get censored, you can see it by turning it on briefly in your UserCP area if you're curious.

And that's a good point, I should be able to figure out how to make censorship mandatory for COPPA users (minors). It's already on by default for guests, but I didn't think to cover the young'uns.

Modified "Top 10" code, added detailed forum stats (found from a link in in the Top 10 area on the forum index page), added "Latest Reputation Given" to UserCP, added registered user ability to open/close own threads.

89, just some slight modifications from osugrad21 on the rep system. Trying to keep things viable until the software changes ARE made by Clarity. At that time the rep system will probably undergo an extensive change.

As it stands now (or did), one positive rep comment from any of our members with a healthy rep score will send someone (newbie) soaring into the green and max out their emeralds. osugrad21 is just trying to keep the system interesting for everyone until the new software is installed.

3yards is correct. The emeralds (or "greenies") haven't changed, despite grad's changing of the point values (those only apply to the rep text associated with the amount points). Folks still get maxed out at around 1500 rep points or so. Members with a ton of rep points built up like grad, me, jwinslow, etc., give folks around 30,000 points for a positive rep. That won't change until Clarity gets a chance to modify it, way down the road.

I'm glad Grad fixed the rep system. He deserves to be head and shoulders above everyone else as he is clearly the most gifted and knowledgeable poster in the world. I think we should rename the site after him.
