Brady "XLLL" Hoke (Head Coach San Diego State)

Yeah, they started in Columbus.
Actually started in Kent, Ohio, however their first try near OSU failed back in the early '80's. I think the location was on Frambes (?), but definitely on North Campus. To their credit they closed and reopened 6-9 months later and it has been "Katie bar the door" ever since. 10 cent wing night was pretty fun....

It actually started out as "Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck."

The weck seems to have gone the way of the dodo.

Yes, that is why it's BW-3 & not BW-2.

Originally called Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck, from which the abbreviation bw-3 was created (the third W was for the beef on weck sandwich), Weck being a sandwich popular in New York consisting of roast beef on an au jus-soaked kummelweck roll. In 1990 Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck began to franchise. In 1998 the name was changed to Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar.
