Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul

The last episode was simply incredible. Had every bit of brilliance of Breaking Bad at it's peak. Love seeing Gale back and they are setting up the drug war perfectly.

I had a problem with The Cousins shoot out. It’s a cool scene and we all know they’re bad asses, but that played like fan service and broke the suspension of disbelief.

These bad asses were brought down in a parking lot by fucking Hank?

Another incredible episode. The development is unreal. The lead in for the laundry mat schematics, Kim taking non-paying criminal clients who don't give a shit over a bank, Jimmy's cell phone job and run-into with Howard, and the unemployment officer at the end. Brilliant. Seriously blown away by this show.

Another great episode this week. Getting interesting and may even start to speed up.

Agreed, another fantastic episode. This show has blown me away so far. Might not have the same excitement/shock value as BB, but is equally brilliant so far imo. And I feel like it's giving very meaningful context to BB in so many ways. They are knocking it out of the park.

It’s impossible to imagine a show where so little happens, yet there are so many implications to what I just witnessed.

Kim gets her sexual kicks from walking the low road with Jimmy.

Nacho had drivers licenses for himself and papi in Manitoba. What happened over this last years time lapse? Is his father dead?

Ok, Better Call is so awesome. But I just rewatched some of Breaking Bad and think I just realized the meaning of the plastic eye Walt keeps getting fixated on. Humor me...in Season 3, Episode 11, Jesse goes to the Georgia O'Keffee museum. Jesse is blown away as to why someone can get so fixated on a door. She explains that nothing is the same once and why not a door, but remarks that you get fixated on something and you just don't know why. I think that is the meaning of WW and the teddy bear eye...he is fixated by it and there is no reason why, except that he is fixated by it and never sees it the same.

Ok, carry on...
