How about we bring back Cooper to scripts the first 10 plays. He always scripted the opening drive of the game and it always was a touchdown. It sure would be nice to start the game up 7.

I'll settle for a non O-line coach as offensive coordinator. Uzelac, Jacobs, Bollman...the list is long and not very pretty:!

bring back cooper so we can lose to scUM and the bowl game each year... yea, that will be an improvement... not... :hatepc: :pissed: :sob: :evil: man were those some tough years... the talent he had, we should have won a NC or two...

Actually I think there were four from this thread alone becaues I started at one green. Wow, I thought the :) icon implied this thread was a joke. Maybe next time I should use a :wink2: . I have always thought Cooper was an ass and would never suggest trading him for Tressel. Even though he was an ass his teams always scored on their first possesion, even if they lost the coin toss. If they scored within 10 plays they would score on the second possesion as well. We might be up 14 instead of 7 because our defense seems to do ok for the first 15 minutes they are in the game. It is the second quarter they have problems with.:) :wink2: :biggrin: :tongue2: (Yes, it's another joke).

Fact, Cooper did script the first 10 plays and they usually worked. I would never even joke about bringing Cooper back as the coach; just getting his first 10 plays.

If you want I'll just join in on why the O-line sucks or yet another Smith vs Zwick thread. I thought the idea of bringing back Coop to script the first ten plays was worth a chuckle.

Coop who??? Ive tried to block that name out of my memory....


I think most of our problems stem from Bollmans blocking schemes...Tress is a good offensive coach in my opinion, just need some better blocking so Pittman can use that speed and break some long runs.. I may be dreaming, just been so long since I seen a good running game here...
