Kiawanuku is gonna be a stud but he's raw as shit and hardly a polished product. I think the Browns picked, oh about, 20 of those too many since 1999. No thanks. I like James. I think he's a top 10 all the way.

About the draft order, I thought head to head comes into effect first, then it goes to SOS. Dammit.

I'd rather have a guy like that with the fucking motor he has than James and his injury problems. Kiwi won't give up, and he busts his ass.. he's Julius Peppers V2. You can't teach what he has. I think James, if healthy, is a potential HOF player, honestly, but I worry about how banged up he is. Look at Courtney Brown.. his problem is he doesn't have a great motor and he gets hurt. Kiwi has the motor to become the next best pass rusher, and I've seen some absolutely SICK moves from him. He's Peppers all over again.

The Browns need to trade down. Then, after they trade down, they need to do it again. They need to stockpile picks like crazy. For some reason, some people seem to think they are a superstar or two away from being good. The Browns just need to get as many good players as possible, and use that as a foundation.

I don't think that's necessarily the case... I'm not saying they are a superstar or two from being good... but I do think they are maybe 5 players from being good.... the other thing with getting as many good players as possible, is that if you go down too far... you might just end up with a bunch of stiffs... and inexperienced stiffs at that... Which is what they have now.... IF they could figure out how to get 4 picks in the first two rounds... that might be just what the doctor ordered. Then you'd have 6 basically new 1st and second rounders from the last 2 years coming in...plus Andre Davis Plus rest of the IR... etc. and there is still free agency.

Kretch- How about if the Browns just signed Drew Brees?

As an OL I would hate to go up against Roth more than James. He tries to kill whomever is across from him every play. I would worry about James getting hurt. Personally I would love to see the Browns draft Fraser in the 3rd or 4th round. If he drops to the 4th he will be a steal.

I think grabbing Brees is a great idea and he'd probably go for it but what will happen with both Garcia and Holcomb? They are both under contract.

I really like James. I know he's an injury risk but I haven't seen anyone more dominant than him this year. Probably not worth the #3 pick though after thinking about it.

Aaron Rodgers declared which makes that #3 pick more valuable now. If he's there, that's who I want unless Leinart comes in. Like I've said, the oppurtunity is there to draft a QB from a bigtime team who's already playing in a pro system. We've got 2 QB's to play while he develops....Rodgers already looks like a pro it's just his experience that needs help. I say, draft Rodgers or Leinart, develop him for a year on the bench and give yourselves another year to develop the right OL.

In the words of the Hitchiker/Serial Murderer/7minute Abs dude from "There's something about Mary.... "Stpe into my office, 'cause your fucking fired"

Also, I beleive Holcomb is a FA... but who gives shit..its the NFL. YOu get your signing bonus and game checks.... that's all that's for sure.

Screw Aaron Rodgers, Screw Matt Leinert.... the Browns do not have the Luxury, IMO of blowing a top pick on a guy whose going to ride pine, IMO.

Though I do like Leinert a lot.... I admit...

I have to agree with AKAK

drafting a qb would be one of the dumber moves at this point unless cleveland dominates FA, which they dont really have the cap room to do thank you very much courtney brown.

cleveland needs guys that line up in 3-point stances on both sides of the ball, moreso on offense.

Leinart & Rodgers will be going #1 & #2 thanks to San Fran & Miami both in desperate need for a QB. With dropping out of the top 2 we now lose the leverage of offering the pick to whomever wants to trade ahead of Miami to pick a QB. But the offset is that whoever the new GM is will not be tempted to pick a QB.

That leaves us back to #3, who to pick? I think the consensous is that we trade the pick, but what if we can't. Basically there are 2 Offensive Lineman that are worth a pick that high. D'Brickshaw Ferguson (Virginia) and Marcus McNeill (Auburn) are the two I want, but both are Juniors so we have to hope and pray that one or both come out this year.

You have to think that Miami will be taking a long hard look at Cedric Benson... (Or Ronnie Brown, or whoever).... They have a team built for a power back.. (Unstoned) and they might think about plugging one right in and seeing what happens.

Good point, AKAK. I don't know if they can trust a rookie to put up the numbers Rickey was putting up upon his retirement, but Miami was built around having a power back as you said.

Hmmmm.... maybe they trade for Ron Dayne..... no... really, I'm just kidding.
