What's with the Rodger's love affair? That guy isn't even close to being NFL material yet. I'd say he's more like a 4th rounder than a top 2 freaking pick!

He'd be stupid to not get another year of experience.

Talk about a product of a system.

Now Thump... with reasoning like that... there is no way the Browns are going to get a lot of value for that pick once he becomes available at 3....

so ixnay on the yanLeafRay

After watching Auburn again last night I think Ronnie Brown may be the best back in the draft. Dude has skills.

Probably because he's NFL ready, perfect mechanics, a gun for an arm, and he audibles constantly which makes him smart obviously.

the system is a pro system. I'll take the product of a system like that anyday.

Could be... Imagine if Cedric Benson played against Defenses that had to defens agains the pass?

At any rate..If I'm Miami... I'd have a look at both of them.

You're kidding me right?

You think this kid is a legit top 2 pick? I'll bet all the vCash I have that this kid will be worse than Kyle Boller!

Who cares if he audibles a lot, name me a QB that doesn't.

Also, I'll tell you one thing he doesn't have, the ability to enable his team to win big games!!

go ahead and bet your vcash cause you're gonna lose. It's just my opinion on something I am familiar with, that's all.

who doesn't audible alot? Do you watch football much? Any kid at QB in college that takes control of the offense like he does is worth something.

and unless Rodgers plays CB, I highly doubt anything would have helped Cal beat TT.

I for one thinks Rodgers is overrated too, just look how Kyle Boller has done and he had those same mechanics, arm, and "intangibles" as Rodgers. Now as long as the Browns don't pick him... I don't care if he is the #1 pick in the draft. That just means one more guy will fall to the Browns.

Now, yes Miami could be served better to take a RB. But there seems to be a ton of them available this year. While there does not seem to be alot of QBs that will be rated high. So there is a good chance Miami might trade down to someone who needs a QB (Arizona anyone?)

I've always thought Leinart was the better pick over Rodgers..after seeing last night's spectacle, can anyone say they'd be mad if he came out early and Cleveland picked him? Man, he's gonna make a pro team very happy some day.

Leinart sure showed great touch last night by lobbing downfield very "soft' passes.

I heard him post game saying that his teammates were razzing him about actually throwing tight spirals for once. I guess he usually throws a bit of a wobbler.

In all actuality, a ball with a little wobble is actualy easier to catch than a tight spiral.

Remember Kenny Anderson, that's how his passes were thrown

Matty- get in your car and drive north a couple hours. :wink2:

Hope you like Rice a Roni.

Leinart's only problem is the wobble but it doesn't look that bad...his thumb looks to stiff when he throws it sometimes, but like you saif Thump, it's usually easier to catch.

Akak, I think Matty is gonna be meeting Mr. Montana soon. If he stays another year he's stupid..I'll respect that, but stupid.

BTW, where is Jason White projected to get drafted, if at all?

I have never seen White more than a 4th rounder. Seeing what he does when rattled, it's looking more likely to be a 5th or 6th. I just don't think he has the arm or the health to make it.

You mean Jason White is finally done in college? I thought he had a lifetime exemption to play there forever

As of right now there is no Offensive Lineman worth the #3 pick. Alex Barron is a 10-20 pick and if the Browns pick him at #3 I will be seriously pissed. But I have a feeling we will have another scUM south player on the team. Savage just likes picking the best player available and that player will be Rolle.
