A Purdue win = pressure! At this point, go for broke blitzing may be just the ticket. The D line needs a stand up game! Mixing up schemes/soft coverage will only help when that picklesack ^ reads the film! 1st D series, I'd enjoy a SS blitz!

when scUM come to Columbus they will be playing for the Big Ten title.... to take that away from them will make the year regardless of what bowl we play in. A bowl game is just icing on the cake... I'm hoping for either Tampa or Orlando so I can make the trip :)

I'm pretty sure Wisconsin's already clinched the Big Ten title.
Big IF, but if stanton got healthy along with Cobb, I think they could dance with Michigan State and take them down. We also benefitted greatly from not having that RB back there balancing out the already effective Teague.

Oh. I thought it would have went to the team with the best overall record which would be Wisconsin.
The BigTen title goes to the team with the best BigTen record. The bowl representative is then the winner of the tie breakers(with total record being part of that).

But that doesn't matter after we beat Michigan on Nov 20th!

Here is one man's predictions

Capital - Iowa
Outback - Michigan
Alamo - THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY
Music City - Northwestern (Actually Northwestern might finish with a better Big 10 record but I don't see how the Alamo Bowl will pick Northwestern over Ohio State)

1. Rose (not a possibility)
2. Capital One (long shot if possible at all)
3. Outback (must win out)
4. From here, I'm not sure the order among: Sun, Alamo, Motor City, Music City

I say Outback! We run the table and play on New Year's Day! How's that for optimism, Buckeye fans?

I am going to assume that Wisconsin wins out, which means they win at Michigan State and at Iowa (hardly a gimme). I am also assuming Michigan beats Northwestern. I going to assume that OSU beats both Purdue and Michigan (I think it is possible). If OSU can get some help and have Minnesota beat Iowa at home, that would put Minnesota at 4-4 in the conference, Iowa at 5-3, Ohio State at 5-3, Michigan at 7-1, and Wisconsin at 8-0. We would be tied for 3rd with Iowa at 5-3, with an overall record of 8-3 compared to their 7-4, despite having lost to them at home. I assume that would put us into the Outback Bowl as the Big 10 #3. That is probably OSU's best case yet still plausible scenario.
