Buckeye Nation - Looking for Discussion

Any thoughts on how you would like to see the conference aligned? Is there any animosity toward Nebraska for joining the conference from OSU's standpoint? Curious what the Buckeye's pulse is....

We are excited. I can't speak for everyone, but I personally wanted a tough opponent(s) to join the conference. I wanted Texas because of the powerhouse they are and the challenge they brought. I love the idea of the Blackshirts vs. the Silver Bullets in the battle of the best defense in the Big10.

PAC10 fans love high scores and high flying offenses. I love good ol' punch them in the mouth hard-hitting defense.

That's why I'm excited that Nebraska has joined the conference.

I would also love to check in here and answer any questions you might have on the Huskers.

Welcome to the Big Ten!! I for one look forward to playing Nebbie. I used to live in Omaha and have been to Memorial Stadium a couple of times to see a game. For the rest of the OSU fans on this board, Big Red fans are some of the most knowledgeable in the country and they do LOVE their Big Red.....
Good Luck in the conference except against a certain team in C-Bus......:)

That one went over my head!

Thanks for the well wishes. And thanks to those of you who have signed up on our board to give us some OSU flavor.

I'm glad to hear there are a few Buckeyes that have already experienced game day in Lincoln. It is definitely a bucket-list item if you get the chance to go....much like Columbus is for me now!

None. We just want to kick your asses on the football field. :)

Welcome to the Big Ten and to Buckeye Planet.

I'm Nu here, but your words have a very familiar ring to them. :wink2:

I had a partner who played TE for Woody. My current partner and I have been in business for 25 years. He grew up in Ohio and has always been a big Buckeye fan. He and I are so looking forward to this new found football rivalry. Should be a lot of fun playing in a conference with all the traditions you guy's have. I think the cultural fit is there for all parties to enjoy for many years to come.

You can never have enough beard, but 7 on D is a good start. You'll need one of those in the Big 10. Of course, Nebby has always understood the importance of the stop side of the ball, so ... yeah... NUL is a good fit.

You really meant to say UNL. :wink2:
