Thanks so much to everyone who has donated! You are all chock full of wonderfulness. :)

Paying off the server is the main priority right now. Clarity is sending the second installment this week. The plan is to finish off that loan with the third payment, which will be a little bigger.

We need to keep rolling to cover that last payment, the site's ongoing expenses, and some of Clarity's expenses. Thanks again, and if you haven't donated yet, please consider doing so. Even the cost of a cup of coffee adds up if we get enough people involved.

A huge thanks to everyone who has participated (or will be participating). Despite the general unhappiness surrounding the football program, the still generally difficult state of the economy, and the fact that we're deep into the slower off-season here on the site, we're just over halfway done paying off the new servers. I'm happy to report those are running beautifully, and we've never been more 'ready' for the season from a hardware and software standpoint. A happy departure from previous years. For the first time in quite a while, I can't wait to see how the site runs during a game -- in the past that's been a source of more than a little stress as we had to run around and tweak things/turn services off in order to make sure pages would load even slowly. No more.

While we still have a little ways to go to pay off the new boxes, doing so remains our highest priority as drive and ad money comes in (and we have a call next week about a possibility of further diversifying our ads with Burst Stadium). I remain very confident that we'll be done with that over the Summer, and if time and resources permit, we can start looking at new additions to the site itself. vBulletin now offers native/integrated iPhone/Android apps as an official extension of the forum software, we still really want to have a real front-end CMS for the site to post proper articles and features, and there may be some new community-driven functionality to boot. A lot of possibilities out there that we'll consider in the weeks and months ahead, all before the new season is upon us.

So thanks again for everything! I hope everyone is still having fun here, even though some of the things we've had to discuss lately have been less-than-happy. If you've given and haven't received your vCash or banner, please let Jo know (LongwoodBuck) and she'll get you hooked up!
