Buy at Amazon, support BP!

Ending up on Amazon from another source is pretty common. You just go back to use the referral once you realize you're ready to check out.

Why don't you just bookmark the link on your phone's browser? Or just navigate to the 'forum' link in the top left of a BP page, then scroll to the bottom for the referral link.
Does it work if you dump stuff in a wishlist then go back with the referral link and add it to your cart and checkout?

Just got a hardshell case for my new Gretsch GT5420. Under $100. Not too shabby.

Used the app to shop and cart. Then went to BP and hit the Shop Amazon link on bottom of main forum tab to check out. Hope it worked.

Finally took the plunge. Decided to go big instead of going home

Weber 26.75" Charcoal Grill

Plus I get this picturesque family, dog and yard. Great value.

awesome... i will usually dump stuff on a wishlist until I can get to my machine with the link then buy.
I use the cart to cut down on impulse buys - if something isn't urgent, I save it for later and then buy it next time if I still want it. Still buy most of my stuff there, but it turns out I didn't really need those three different mechanical pencils or the LED color changing bulbs. But the phone charger that also works as a hand warmer I bought last year? Going to want another of those soon. Two pockets, after all!

To clarify for those unfamiliar, BP gets a percentage of every purchase. The more people that buy things each month, the larger the referral percentage.

My $300 grill gives BP about $18 or so in referral bucks (I'm too lazy to look up the current %).

If a bunch of bpers buy razors, pencils, movies, beef jerky and anything else, then every purchase made gets a bump in the referral rate earned. So don't think this is about big purchases. Those are great but it is the little things where I encourage others to step in and help out. amazon is almost always the cheapest (especially given the lack of gas to acquire it) and can get it to you quickly if you use prime.

So please, spend like a good American (read: flippantly) and help keep BP and 'Merica going during these tough times!

Next month I have several purchases to make through Amazon. My credit card gives me 5% rebate on Amazon purchases starting next month. Josh, is it beneficial for BP if I break things up into multiple purchases over multiple days?

@Deety can confirm, but I think it helps the referral percentage threshhold to have separate orders. It's not worth splitting up one time orders into 4 parts, but if you're going to make a handful over the course of a week or two, I think splitting them up helps.

Thanks. I'll keep each one just high enough to get free shipping. Plus, every time we discuss something like this it bumps the thread and keeps the reminder in front of people.
