C Kaleb "Bully" Wesson ('18 All B1G Freshman, '19 Honorable Mention All B1G, '20 2nd Team All B1G)

I saw a video a couple days ago of Wesson going up against Ward last season and it was not a pretty sight. Ward was pushing around Wesson at will and Ward has probably only gotten stronger during his year as a Sparty. Hopefully, Wesson and the coaching staff will heed your advice.
yeah, what i found disconcerting about that video is the disparity in bounciness (not to mention muscle development, of course). i watched nick ward play some aau games a few years ago. unlike wesson, he recognized the importance of turning around his body. kaleb? not yet. at least not enough. when i saw ward as a sophomore or so, he was chunky but he was not flabby. although wesson has lost some weight, he is still flabby. unfortunately, richardson's track record is producing skinny-fat players.

I like Wesson as a solid producer, but I was a little surprised at the 21-11 averages his senior season. I was expecting a little more assertion, a la Goodwin's 30 ppg. And that includes the 47 against Upper Arlington. So he really averaged just under 20 a game for the most part. A solid role-player at first, but probably not a Sully, eh?
