USC and Ohio State recruiting him the hardest...visiting Auburn and Alabama in April and wants to visit Washington, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Michigan this spring.

• Irish247 insider Tom Loy spent time with ballyhooed linebacker Solomon Tuliaupupu on Tuesday and predicted him to Ohio State. If that happens I could argue that being the most impressive recruiting win for any prospect at any school nationally (my forecast is currently USC).

This is going to get really interesting...I think the staff views Solomon as a "take" for sure or else they would not be knocking down the doors in CA and getting the parents out here. However, with Gant and Mitchell on board, you would think there would only be one spot left. It also seems like Pope wants in soon and I would think we chase Gaotete until NLOID even if that is a long shot.

I think you can cue the "This sounds like one of dem good problems" meme.

My favorite type of problems to have.

IMO, take both and have an elite class of 4. May have to subtract another position, but we can realistically lose all 3 LB starters and have nothing but unproven talent. All 4(if we do indeed get them all) can possibly make the 2 deep in year 1, and at the least see ST action.
