Every year it seems that you hear stories like this since, well since social media kicked into high gear.....
That's why you don't see many issues with parents involving themselves too much when they were once pro athletes.

After all they have had the spotlight before and have no need to take it from their children.

I think advising your child is outstanding but at least stay off of social media.

Admittedly, I’m not following recruiting as closely this season as in the past, but anytime a parent tries to take a public front seat in their kid’s recruitment, I get a little leery. Just feels like if the kid isn’t getting a starter’s reps from day 1 they inevitably start complaining. And, yeah, “father of ballers” is a red flag to me.

Yep and UGA has a fairly recent record of losing good players to transfer. Add that to being from California and a fairly involved father. Yeah what could go wrong lol
