Without knowing the circumstances, I am inclined to agree, especially with how important social media has become to most teens. Even if Tyjon knew Smith was going to tweet that beforehand and was cool with it, the mere perception that the coach stole his thunder could have potential negative effects on other recruits. Wish the man was a bit less trigger happy on twitter, but I guess we're supposed to trust that he knows what he's doing. I doubt that any other coach on the staff would make such a tweet.
I hereby retract this. Mind blown.

"To be honest, I've been an Ohio State lean since the day they offered me," Lindsey said. "It was August 16th, 2015, I still remember the day it happened. I told myself right then that I wanted to be a Buckeye.

"It's just a great fit for me on so many levels including how they plan to use me in the offense. I'll play in the slot, out wide and on all special teams. Ohio State always does a great job using their play makers and they get their guys to the League (NFL). I'm just really excited to be a part of that family and can't wait to be a Buckeye."
