Tyjon Lindsey (WR Nebraska Cornhuskers, transfer to Oregon St.)

I can't believe we landed Tyjon after the awesome videos of the corn camp where all the coaches were trying to hug him lol.

In defense of Coach Williams, he was just asking Tyjon if he could smell alcohol on his breath. He had to get close for that. Tyjon's body language tells me the answer was yes.

I went to the Braska boards earlier today to get all amped up over their delusions and Ohio State hatred. Surprisingly they were a pretty level headed group. The only thing out of place I noticed was that they were all convinced he was a lean to Nebraska for a very long time, and we swooped in at the last second. Props to their posters though.....none of the usual stuff you see from fan bases who are after the same recruits. Even when they would acknowledge that Ohio State was the other team, it would be met with things like "deservedly so".

I make a big deal over their obnoxiousness in numbers (and the fact that they thought he was actually going to pick Nebraska) on twitter but most of them today have been of the "I hope you choose Nebraska, but good luck wherever you go" variety. As far as the "lean to Nebraska until the end" bit, I guess they can just read what Tyjon has said himself if there was ever any doubt that he's been all Buckeye for quite some time.

Tyjon actually was the one who convinced me, way back in January, to give Ohio State a look.

He told me in January that’s where he was going to college...
Now that I’m on the topic of Tyjon. Yes, he did come back to Bishop Gorman and he is playing with us this season. I don’t think there was anyone more excited than me about him coming back not only because he’s an amazing athlete, but because that’s my brother. While he was gone, it felt like I was missing part of my family. Now that he is back it was like he never left. Everyone on the team loves Tyjon and he’s doing just fine with the team and he’s going to be ready to ball with us this year.

COMMIT OUT WITH COLLARBONE INJURY

Fans will have to wait a while to see Ohio State's most recent commit in action, as MaxPreps is reporting (link only works on mobile) that Bishop Gorman five-star wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey will be out six weeks with a broken collarbone. The injury occurred during the Gaels' preseason scrimmage against Liberty High School.
