Cade Mays (OL Georgia, transfer to Tennessee)

No matter what, he is going to be a TOUGH pull from the south...he likely ends up at an SEC school, but again...you just get him here and let UFM work his magic.
They're roughly the same distance away (Columbus compared to Athens) to Knoxville... Also it's not that south of a state if you ask me. It's not that far fetched that we can grab a kid like this IMO, but we need to show well here this Saturday. If we win and the crowd is rocking I think we have a decent shot.

Really not that funny.
Prince has graded out well this year and is the prototype in terms of size.

To the poster above you he is a junior so he won't be here 2 more years.
And to you I posit that if he sticks around Prince will go in the first round of the 19 draft as Diddy projects his rate of improvement and measurements.

I am just going off what I have read on Cade, which has indicated at this point he wants to stay south. But considering he has never even been to Ohio (let alone OSU), there is plenty of room to make a big impression and change that. Regardless of our struggles on the field right now, the fact remains that OSU is incredibly impressive on its own and our staff is second to none in recruiting, so I am certainly not saying we have no chance. I am just saying there is a lot of work to be done here. But if we can pull it off, you may be looking at a class of Carman, Mays, Wray, Walker and Jones. Might be a bit of a longshot to land all of those and Mays coming in might mean Walker is out (doubt that based on their talent and our obvious need for OL), but I like to dream.

Just sayin': Rated as the top transfer this year. in a year so Tennessee will end up with the the 2 Mays brothers being the anchors of their OL.

Tennessee Volunteers OL Cade Mays granted transfer waiver by NCAA

The NCAA has granted Tennessee offensive lineman Cade Mays a transfer waiver after initially denying his request, Volunteers coach Jeremy Pruitt told reporters after Thursday's practice.

Mays, who played in all 14 games at Georgia last season before transferring in January, must still receive a waiver from the SEC to play for the Volunteers this season. He is an expected starter on Tennessee's offensive line if he is eligible.
