Carolina vs. dook, round 1 tonight

bucknut11

Defense still wins Championships
Any thoughts on this game? I think the 'Heels are just too deep and too explosive for dook to handle. The Blue Devils have been plagued by some injuries and don't have a deep rotation, while Carolina rotates I think as many as 9 guys. Only thing that should make this game close is that it's on Coach K's court.

It's been so nice seeing the 'Heels return to prominence this year. The last few seasons have been tough to follow.

87-79, Carolina baby.

Let me guess...Ohio State football fan, North Carolina basketball fan.
Last time I checked Ohio State is a year-round university, not just a football team, but maybe that's just me.

Duke-Carolina is usually an interesting game but the outcome of it is of no consequence to me.

Enjoy the game...

I like the OSU basketball team a ton. It's just hard to follow them as well when they're not on TV very much. Am I allowed to have 2 favorite basketball teams?

Crap. Oh well. If I have to pick just one, it'd be OSU cuz Tar Heels don't do much football, except against Cryami and FSU ....

I guess since I don't really root for any professional basketball teams, I go w/ Carolina in addition to OSU. In the basketball realm, the two schools seem to be almost completely separate, so I don't really feel a conflict of interest there. Although, if I were a student in Columbus, maybe that would change.

At any rate, yes, it should be a great game.
