Cavs 2010-11 season (official thread)

According to the local news, looks like the Cavs won't pursue tampering charges. Also, it looks like Z (free agent) will be talking to the Heat as well. Rough times continue in NE Ohio. Go Bucks

Let them sign Z. At this point he doesn't bring anything to the table that will help. They still need someone that can defend Howard.

Wouldn't it be cool if Z went to Miami and at a critical point in the playoffs he would get the ball and just purposely throw it out of bounds or better yet just hand it to an opposing player thereby causing the Heat to lose their series. Then as he walks off the court he can say to Lebron, "Sorry about that but my elbow was starting to hurt."

It would never happen, but it would make him a God in Cleveland.

Maybe Z is following Gloria...

joking, Z is a classy stand up guy with a good family so I shouldn't say such things. Though, it'd be tough to see him go to Miami cause I want him to win a ring, but not as much as I want LeBron not to win one.

Call me naive but the is just a running joke right? West is not really nailing his mom........is he?

I never believed it until....

Colin Cowherd addressed it on his show and said they had two confirmed sources, but ESPN execs decided they didn't want to run with it because they felt long-term a relationship with LBJ was better than a sensationalized story that would piss him off. Keep in mind, Colin is the same guy who blew up ESPN about MoC and was reprimanded for it. Said ESPN execs were calling for on-air personalities to rip tOSU and he didn't want to do it b/c he didn't trust MoC.

Tons of Cleveland people with connections to the Cavs have also confirmed it...

TIFWIW. I'm fairly confident this went down.

Cleveland better start doing something because I haven't heard their names mentioned in anything.

Mavs chasing hard after Jefferson

Suns acquiring veteran forward Hedo Turkoglu from the Toronto Raptors for guard Leandro Barbosa and agreeing to a trade with the Atlanta Hawks that will bring restricted free agent Josh Childress.

Just seems like everyone is making moves and Cleveland isn't doing anything. They can't think they are going to be successful with what they have right now.

I'd rather the Cavs do nothing than chase Jefferson or Turkoglu. I wouldn't have minded if they had gone after Childress, though.

If the price for Barbosa is Hedo... The Cavs don't have a Hedo just sitting around. That's a much better deal for PHX, who are trying to put themselves over the top in the west.

BINGO!!!

I hope they really fail in trying to re-tool the team on the fly this summer. Dan Gilbert's instincts are to re-tool on the fly and try to beat Miami ASAP. But the NBA has proven that you need a stud to win it all, and the only real way to get that stud (especially to a city like Cleveland) you HAVE to draft them.

So hopefully Gilbert is forced to realize that we can't get help. And he is forced to blow it up come February and we can get a lottery pick. Cuz god knows... Stern OWES us another rigged #1 lottery pick :wink2:

Harrison Barnes... come on down!

I think we've seen you need TWO studs to win it all.

MJ/Scottie
Shaq/Kobe
Kobe/Pau
Dwade/Shaq
Duncan/TP or Manu
Hakeem/Clyde

Pistons being the one team in the last 20 years or so that did it as a "team" IMO
